Editor's review
This is a CAD drawing to PDF converter.
Many a times, in a collaborative situation, there would be partners who need to view CAD drawings but do not need to modify or edit it for effective working. Sometime as with an architect and a customer, a detailed drawing may not be required but, an image of the drawing will suffice. In all such cases, particularly, if you have a heavy load of such conversions, it will be a shame to tie up a full copy of AutoCAD or compatible software for this simple job. A tool like this one would be immensely beneficial. This tool converts a full-fledged CAD drawing produced in AutoCAD or a compatible system in DWG or DXF formats to PDF documents. A simple interface helps using this tool to be a very straightforward affair. To help a bunch of such drawings to be processed at a time, this tool has a batch processing capability. When creating a batch list, you could opt to include all the sub-folders in folder when that folder is selected.
It is a standalone utility and does not require any other software to get the job done and will convert these drawings to a vector PDF directly. The tool is compatible with all the versions of these two drawing formats released so far. Staring from release 2.5 to the latest 2013 version, all the versions are supported. The Pro version supports the command line. But that is not an option beginners should attempt to use. You should try it only after you have become familiar with the tool. This is quite a handy tool for the job.
